Sheperd Fairey's copyright lawsuit

I believe that it is unfair for Fairey to be to be sentenced because he only copied the image for creative purposes. There are a lot of people that reuses copyrighted materials and they don't get punished as severely as Fairey's case. I think people should be able to copy things and use it anyway they want as long as they are recreating it in a artistic/ creative way.

The cloud VS. Ownership

Cloud -based media allows users to store, encrypt, backup and recover, it is easy and convenient to access information. The con is that companies that are using cloud-based software is putting their security at risk because they are trusting information with a third party service cloud provider. Another con is that upload speed is slower than download speed. I can see that it could be useful for me when it comes to building some sort of application, games.

Stelarc

Stelarc's work may seem gruesome to many people because it looks like something we would see in a horror movies with a psychopath  or an evil doctor. This reminds me of the movie The Centipede because Stelarc is torturing the body and creating it into something inhuman-like. The idea he demonstrates is unique and could change our view on our body capabilities. I think it is unsettling because it's natural and manipulation of our body. Our body is something we were born with and it should remain the way it is, therefore, the idea of our body does does not need to evolve.

Prism ( NSA Surveillance Program)

The NSA program doesn't effect me at all even though knowing about it makes me feel a little scared. The Prism makes me rethink about what I do on the internet before I start getting on Google, Facebook, and other social Media websites. I am really not concerned at the moment if they were to dig into my personal messages, photos, or my browsed websites, but I will be aware of it and not do anything illegal. After a little research on this topic, I was shocked because I never knew what the government could do and that they could have collected my data from online without me knowing.

My Faves in photoshop

My fave technique that I learned in Photoshop is the laso tool and masking, and favorite project is the animation.
